Run for Swachh Bharat Kisna Diamond Marathon 2019
Cleanliness Is Godliness, we have heard and read about it since childhood. Today, you have a chance to contribute profoundly towards this cause of Swachh Bharat, by sweating for it, by running for the cause. Kisna Diamond Jewellery brings Kisna Diamond Marathon 2019, a marathon unlike any other, to run for #SwachhBharat, making it a unique opportunity to steer yourself towards fitness and contribute towards the cause of Swachh Bharat.
The country is swinging towards Swachhta Abhiyan, more activities are being put in place to promote cleanliness and its importance by the Govt. of India, NGOs, activists, and many citizens as well. This dream can however only be realised if we the people collectively work and participate in it. It’s not just an activity but our collective duty to contribute ourselves to this cause.
We at Kisna Diamond jewellery realise this and are equally committed towards this cause. The Kisna Diamond Marathon is powered by HK Group. All the proceeds from the event shall be donated to a charitable fund ‘Hari Krishna Charitable Trust’, towards the cause of Swachh Bharat.
Apart from cleanliness, an activity like a marathon should be in your lifestyle diet to steer you towards fitness. As they say, health is wealth. Participating in outdoor activities keeps you physically fit and mentally active.
Kisna Diamond Marathon would be a thematic experience revolving around Swachh Bharat unlike any other. It definitely would be an amazing experience indeed!
One of the highlights of the event is the 62-year young visually challenged marathon icon, Mr. Amarjeet Singh Chawla, who would be running his 123rd marathon at Kisna Diamond Marathon, 2019. Amarjeet Singh Chawla is a living example of how a person’s determination can take you ahead in life. We often meet challenges in our path, we often cry about things that do not go our way, but the best thing to do in such situations is to stand up to the challenges and give our best, and things automatically fall into place, the challenges will make you stronger and you will eventually cross the line to glory. Mr. Amarjeet Singh Chawla is a person we can all look up to for inspiration because life in itself is a marathon, it’s how you run it that makes a difference.
The marathon spans across 3 different categories, 21 Km, 10 Km & 5 Km.
The age groups are categorised into three,
