Jewellers tell us that while hoops are in big demand this wedding season, there are a lot of brides who seek traditional pearl-studded Maharashtrian naths or jadau Kumaoni naths. The new-age brides are looking for jewellery pieces that they can wear on their wedding day and can also use later. The more practical urban bride is choosing minimalistic but striking pieces that work well as an accessory with any outfit of choice, says Parag Shah, director of a jewellery brand.
